BOLLYWOOD: Super star Akshay Kumar has tested positive for COVID-19 and is under home quarantine.
After Aamir Khan, he is the second Bollywood super star to contract the coronavirus.

Akshay asked those who came in contact with him to test themselves. “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!” the actor said on social media.
Akshay has been shooting for the film Ram Setu with actress Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. The shooting has been cancelled because of his illness.
