MUMBAI: A six-page suicide note by actress Jiah Khan, 25, who hanged herself in her Juhu apartment on June 2, has been found in which she has written about her troubled love relationship with Suraj Pancholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi.
Jiah Khan’s family has reportedly decided to give a copy of the suicide note to investigators at the Juhu Police station.
The note reportedly says, “You have cheated me. I trusted the relation. You didn’t care about the relation. By the time you will be reading this letter, probably by then I won’t be there in this world.’’
Suraj, 22, was the last person she called minutes before ending her life by hanging from the ceiling of her bedroom as her mother Rabiya and sister were out.
But a police investigator said, “We would seek legal experts’ opinion and an appropriate action would be initiated if required. As of now, we do not want to jump to any conclusion.’’
Police are also seeking help of hand-writing experts to ascertain the veracity of the note, even though her family has said that the note was written by her.
Aditya Pancholi has said that his son Suraj is not the villain in the suicide.
London-raised Jiah Khan, whose original name was Nafisa Khan, had moved to Mumbai with her mother to pursue a career in Bollywood.
