NEW YORK: A New York taxi driver, who asked sexually suggestive questions from his female passenger last year, has lost his license to drive cabs in the city.
Tashfeen Awan, who was ferrying the female passenger in his car from the upper East Side to midtown last November, engaged her in a conversation and then asked her questions about her sex life.
As the woman passenger kept quiet and felt uncomfortable with his sexually suggestive questions, the taxi driver asked her, “Am I making you uncomfortable, honey, or am I making you horny?”
Even as the female passenger told the randy cab driver that she was feeling uncomfortable with his questions, he asked her, “Oh honey, I bet you like to be on top. I bet you like to ride the horsey.”
The New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) held a hearing after the woman file a complaint against the cab driver, according to New York Daily News.
The driver was given the chance to defend himself. He admitted that he made some remarks but failed to give any convincing replies to the TLC which cancelled his license to drive taxi in New York.
