VANCOUVER: A 27-year-old Indo-Canadian woman, who reportedly went missing last week from Vancouver International Airport, has been found.
“Richmond RCMP is pleased to report that Navjot Kahlon was located safe & sound yesterday afternoon. A thank you is extended to those that assisted with the investigation,” the police in the city of Richmond on the Vancouver suburb where Vancouver International Airport is located, said in a press release on Thursday morning.
However, the press release didn’t say where or how the 27-year-old woman was found.
As reported earlier, Navjot Kahlon went to the airport to board a flight for India last week. But her family said she never boarded the flight with them.
“On March 2nd, Richmond RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) received a report from family members that 27-year-old Navjot Kaur Kahlon of Surrey was missing. Kahlon was last seen at Vancouver International Airport on February 26th when family members were waiting to board a flight to India. Kahlon’s family believed that she would be joining them in India but she never did,” Cpl. Sherrdean Turley, spokesman of Richmond Police, had said.
