TORONTO: Toronto’s former mayor Rob Ford, who died of cancer in March 2016 at the age of 46, is seen smoking crack cocaine released on Thursday after an extortion charge against Ford’s friend Sandro Lisi was withdrawn in court.
The video was shot in Feb 2013. In 2014, Ford had admitted to smoking cocaine.
In the video, Ford is seen mumbling and using swear words as he tries to light and hold the cocaine pipe.
The video was reportedly shot on a cellphone in the Toronto suburb of Etobicoke.
The other voice in the video is that of Elena Basso at whose place- 15 Windsor Drive – the video was reportedly filmed.
Ford’s friend Sandro Lisi was accused of extort the video and faced court proceedings which were dropped in Thursday – Aug 11.The court also lifted the ban on the video.
