MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt, who on October 1 got a 14-day parole to be with his family, has been given an extension of another 14 days on his request on medical grounds.
The 53-year-old actor, who is serving a 42-month jail in Pune’s Yerwada Jail in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, surrendered on May 16 after the Supreme Court of India rejected his plea to overturn the five-year jail term given to him.

This is the first parole for Sanjay Dutt who is allowed one visit per month by his family members.
