MUMBAI: Bollywood super star Salman Khan is opposed to ban on Pakistani actors working in Bollywood in the wake of the Uri attack by terrorists in which 18 Indian soldiers were killed.
The actor says the Pakistani artists working in Bollywood are not terrorists and people should draw distinction between a terrorist and an artist. He says the Indian government gives them visas and work permits.
His response to India’s `surgical strikes’ across the Line of Control on terrorist launch pads was: “Terrorists the Naa, toh proper action hua.”
The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association IMPPA on Thursday passed a resolution to ban Pakistani actors from working in Bollywood films.
IMPPA president TP Aggarwal said that in their 87th annual general meeting their association passed a resolution that “no Pakistani will be hired by their producer members forever.”
