MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s dad Salim Khan thinks that his son and Shahrukh Khan are two rivals who can never be friends.
Salim Khan – who himself has just patched up with Javed Akhtar with whom he wrote the screen play of such blockbusters as Sholay, Zanjeer and Deewar – said Salman and Shahrukh are two competitors and it is difficult for the two rivals to be friends.
Speaking at the trailer launch of the 3D version of Sholay here, 77-year-old Salim said, “To have love between Salman and Shahrukh is not possible. One should not expect that if Shahrukh’s film is a success then Salman will dance and celebrate. Or if Salman’s film is a hit so Shah Rukh will throw a party. Its not possible.’’

Salman and Shahrukh, who were last seen together in Karan Arjun, fell out when they had heated arguments during Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008.
There has been speculation that the two rivals might patch up after Salman Khan greeted Shahrukh at Baba Siddiqui’s an Iftar party in Mumbai recently.
