LONDON: Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who is hanging up his bat next month after playing 200 Test matches, is India’s richest cricketer with a fortune of $160 million (about Rs 1,000 crore).
Wealth-X, which released estimates of personal worth of players on Wednesday, said “Little Master” has amassed a fortune that eclipses the combined net worth of the four other Indian cricketers on the list – Mohinder Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli.
Sachin is more than three times the net worth of the next wealthiest player, Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is worth $50 million.
Yuvraj Singh is estimated to worth $30 million.
Rahul Dravid, 40, is estimated to be worth $20 million, says the report.
And Indian vice captain Virat Kohli has amassed a fortune of $15 million so far.
