Playboy founder and editor Hugh Hefner turns 90 on April 9. He was 27 when he brought out the first issue of Playboy in December 1953. He sold 54,175 copies of the first issue at 50 cents each. Before starting Playboy, Hefner worked with Esquire, but left it in January 1952 because he was denied a $5 raise. Crystal, his 27-year-old wife, tweeted, ``Happy birthday @hughhefner! I love you! #CasablancaNight #playboymansion.''
