LONDON: Passports of Muslim and Arab countries are the worst documents for travel in today’ world, says Henley & Partners in its Visa Restriction Index 2013.
At number 93, Pakistani passport is the worst document for travel. Only passports of Afghanistan, Somalia and Iraq are worst than the Pakistani passport.
The index by Henley & Partners, which is the global leader in residence and citizenship planning, is a global ranking of countries in the travel freedom their citizens enjoy.
Passports of Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Pakistan, Palestine, Eritrea, Nepal, Sudan, Sri Lanka and Lebanon are the 10 worst passports for travel, according to the index.
India ranked 74 on the index, much better than China at 82.
On the other hand, passports of Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, the US, Canada, Japan, Italy, etc ranked among the best for travel.
