Miracles do happen. A four-month-old baby boy, who had been buried under the rubble for 24 hours after the earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday, has been rescued.
The local daily Kathmandu Today showed pictures of the boy – Sonit Awal – being pulled out of the rubble by the Nepalese rescue personnel.
The boy’s family in Bhaktapur had struggled to pull him out after the earthquake struck on Saturday.
They knew the baby was alive as they heard his cries, but they failed to pull him out till midnight.
It was then they they called rescuers who pulled out the baby on Sunday morning.
The baby was taken to Bhaktapur hospital and was found to be okay.
Isn’t it a miracle? God does exist.
