NEW YORK: Michael Jackson’s 15-year-old daughter, Paris jackson, who attempted suicide in June by cutting her wrists and using overdose of painkillers, is now “doing much better’’, her grandmother Katherine Jackson tells Hello! magazine.
Paris had attempted suicide reportedly after cyber bullying, including nasty comments on her Facebook page about late father’s lifestyle and allegations of molestation against him.
But Paris is now “in a good place, getting the help she needs,’’ the grandmother told the magazine.
“She’s my baby. It’s hard for me, really hard,’’ 83-year-old Katherine, who shares custody of Michael Jackson’s three children, told the magazine.
Paris is Michael jackson’s daughter from his wife Debbie Rowe. The King of Pop and Debbie were married in 1996 and separated in 1999. Paris was born in 1998. her brother Prince Michael was born in 1997.
Previously, Michael jackson was married Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, from 1994 to 1996.
Prince Michael jackson II – also known as Blanket – is Jackson’s third child through surrogacy. The identity of his mother is not known.
Michael Jackson died following cardiac arrest in 2009.
