MUMBAI: Bigg Boss host Salman Khan seems to be bent upon using the hit show to settle score with his Bollywood stars with whom doesn’t have a cozy relationship.
Of course, Salman may not say so, but deep down he has not takne kindly to his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif going with Ranbir Kapoor.
A little jealousy towards Ranbir shows up in Salman behaviour every now and then.
Remember how Salman had ridiculed Ranbir at the launch of Bigg Boss by calling Ranbir `who naya ladka bhi…’’
Now the flop of Ranbir’s film Besharam has come in handy for Salman to get a little nasty with the Kapoor boy. If you remember, the Kapoor boy had taken a dig at Salman Khan’s Dabangg in Besharam by telling his father (his real-life father Rishi Kapoor) who plays inspector Chulbul in the film, that ‘Chulbul naam rakh lene se koi Dabangg nahi ban jata.’
So now it happened like this that Jaaved Jaaferi and Sharman Joshi came to Bigg Boss to promote their film War Chodd Na Yaar.
During the chat, Jaaved said their film has been rated well by critics. According to Mid-Day, when “Sharman reminded him (Salman) how 3 Idiots had received three-star rating, yet it went on to break box office records, Salman said, `meri filmon ko toh itna bhi nahi milta’.’’
Salman went on, “Abhi Besharam release hui, usko bhi 1.5 stars mila and after box office collections (were made public), critics decided to deduct that one star as well.”
Salman’s rumoured remarks were deleted from the show.
