MUMBAI: Motorola launched its new flagship smartphone Moto X in India on Wednesday with a starting price of Rs 23,999.
The smartphone will initially be available only online through Flipkart and then hit the stores. To begin with, there will only be white and black colour variants of 16GB. Other colour options will be available from next month.
While normal colour variants will cost Rs 23,999, the Moto X version with wood-panelled back will come at a price of Rs 25,999.
Debuting with wrap-around display technology, the Moto X comes with a 4.7-inch AMOLED 720p HD screen. It has 10MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, with its Ultra Pixels offering better low-light photography.
Run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, it comes with 1.7Ghz quad-core Adreno 320 GPU processor, 16GB internal memory and 2GB RAM.
The new Motorola smartphone comes after the roaring success of recently released Moto G which flew off the shelves and is currently selling for Rs 12,499.
