LONDON: A British man, who hired a prostitute in Solihull in the Midlands on the basis of an advertisement in a newspaper, found her too ugly when he met her at a local hotel and called police to complain that she was not as attractive as she claimed herself in the advertisement.
He wanted the cops to take action against her for violating the Sale of Goods Act.
In his call to the cops, the man said, “I have arranged a meeting with her, but beforehand I have asked her for an honest description, otherwise when I get there I’m not going to use her services.
“Basically she has misdescribed herself, misrepresented herself totally. She was angry because she obviously thinks I owe her a living or something.’’
According to police, when he told the hooker that he won’t pay her she took the keys of his car and ran away. It’s then when he called the cops, though the hooker threw the keys back to him before disappearing.
The cops, who warned him that he was wasting their time, couldn’t believe that this was happening.
In a tweet, the cops said, “Unbelievable … man just reported a ‘lady of the night’ for breaching Sale of Goods Act with her looks.’’
