MUMBAI: Gunday starring Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has crossed Rs 50 crore at the boxoffice.
The film, which collected over Rs 40 crore in its first weekend, added over Rs 10 crore on Monday and Tuesday to take its boxoffice collection to Rs 53.30 crore.
The Yash Raj Chopra film got off to a good start on Friday, collecting Rs 16.12 crore on its opening day. After Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho, Gunday is the second film to pull in crowds in the New Year on its opening day.
The film collected Rs 12.63 crore on Saturday and Rs 15.18 crore on Sunday, taking its first three days’ collection to Rs 43.93 crore.
According boxofficeindia, “This Yash Raj film could very well enter the Rs 100 club if it continues its good run at the box office. But Imtiaz Ali’s much awaited film Highway starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda will hit the screens this week. So it would be tough for Gunday to sustain in the coming weekend.’’
