Facebook has introduced video calling in its Messenger app.
The new feature will allow face-to-face chats by tapping a button in the Messenger app.
Video calling makes Messenger a competitor to Skype, Google Hangouts, and FaceTime (Apple).
Messenger already has over 600 million monthly active users who are making 10 percent of all internet-based phone calls, according to the Verge.
Users can start the chat by tapping the video camera icon and its works over both LTE and Wi-Fi connections.
