The Hindu Sena, the far-right group which had celebrated the victory of Donald Trump in the US elections in November, formally coronated him today at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar even as he was taking oath of the office in Washington.
The Hindu Sena activists garlanded Trump’s portrait, put tilak on his forehead and sweets in his mouth.
The same group had taken to streets in Delhi when Trump had won the elections. His tough stand on jihadis has found an echo among the cadres of this far-right Hindu group.
