MUMBAI: Another FIR has been filed against Shahrukh Khan, his producer wife Gauri Khan, director Karan Johar and others for hurting the Hindu religious sentiments by describing Lord Krishna’s companion Radha as `sexy’ in a song in their film Student of the Year.
While the first FIR was filed by an NGO in Indore last week, this time it is an advocate in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.
The advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha moved the court of Muzaffarpur Chief Judicial Magistrate S P Singh on Nov 5 against Shahrukh Khan, Gauri and Johar for allegedly depicting Radha in an obscene manner in a song in the film. The judge has ordered the police to register an FIR.
Last week, a similar case was filed in a court in Indore after a local NGO Shrivision Social Empowerment and Welfare Association filed a petition alleging that the alleged song in the film hurt people’s religious sentiments by referring to Radha as `sexy.’
Apart from Johar, Gauri and Dharma Productions House, those whose names figure in both the FIR are Sony Music, lyricist Anveta Dutta, composers Vishal-Shekhar, singers Shreya Ghosal and Udit Narayan, and actors Alia Bhatt, Sidharath Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.
