TORONTO: Air Canada will begin direct services from Toronto to Mumbai from July 1 next year.
The thrice-weekly flight will depart Toronto at 21.35PM on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. From Mumbai, flights will depart at 23.55Pm on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The flights will be serviced by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which has 30 business class lie-flat seat suites, 21 premium economy and 247 economy class seats.
This will be the second non-stop flight to India by Air Canada which started Toronto-Delhi non-stop flights on Oct 20 last year.
Benjamin Smith, Air Canada President for Passenger Airlines, said, “Toronto-Mumbai is our third route between Canada and India starting with the launch of Toronto-Delhi service last fall…”
The sale of tickets for Toronto-Mumbai flights has begun.
