MUMBAI: After ordering him to vacate his duplex flats on December 16, the Bombay high court has now told the Pakistani-origin singer Adnan Sami to surrender his passport to police who are investigating a case of harassment against filed by his former wife Sabah Galadari.
The fresh high court order to him to surrender his passport comes after two sureties for his 2009 anticipatory bail in the case have withdrawn.
Adnan recently approached the court for its permission to go abroad for shows. But he was asked to submits details and dates of these shows. As he has failed to submit these details, the court has ordered him to surrender his passport.
The singer-musician, who is staying in duplex flats at Oberoi Sky Garden in the Lokhandwala Complex with his third wife Roya Faribi, has been ordered to vacate it within two two months as Sabah Galadari has claimed it to her matrimonial home in the on-going case.
