MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has met the family of Bihar’s famous Mountain Man.
The actor travelled all the way to Gaya to spend time with the Mountain Man Dashrath Manjhi and his family.
The story of the Mountain Man Dashrath Manjhi features in the first season of Aamir’s show Satyamev Jayate.
Dashrath Manjhi spent 22 years in carving out a passage through a mountain after his wife died because she could not be taken for medical help because of the lack of road.

Her death inspired him to dedicate his life to creating the road so that others didn’t suffer for a lack of medical care.
